Diamondbacks Bullpen gives up another 6 runs today.

Juan Gutierrez- 4 runs in 8.1 innings
Bobby Korecky- 3 run in 2.2 innings
Tony Pena- 4 runs in 6.2 innings
Chad Qualls- 2 runs in 5 innings
Jon Rauch- 8 runs in 6 innings
Scott Schoenweis- 2 runs in 5.2 innings
Doug Salten- 2 runs in 3 innings

That would be 25 runs in about 37 innings. ERA around 6.
I doubt anyone cares about the D-backs bullpen, but this is getting annoying.

Brian Bass - 14 runs in 10.1 innings
Jim Johnson - 2 runs in 6.2 innings
Chris Ray - 4 runs in 5.2 innings
Dennis Sarfate - 6 runs in 7.1 innings

38 runs in about 54 innings. That's TERRIBLE.

No need to put Qualls into this mess. He had one tough outing and even then, he got Pujols to hit a weak grounder with the bases loaded that should have been fielded. :)

Everyone else has been pretty bad.

Agreed, Qualls has been pretty solid- as has Gutierrez. Jon Rauch is my main problem here. I'd like to see a Washington Nationals-like mass exodus in which Rauch, Slate and Korecky are sent down and anyone else is called up.

I really see a potentially dominant closer in Qualls. I like seeing him in the role after years of excellent work in set-up roles. He's been strong from his first year in the bigs.
