So far the Yankees in the second inning have:
(2) doubles
(2) triples
(1) HR

Johnny Damon has 9 straight games with an XBH batting around .500 for that span I believe.

Chipper took out his frustration of last night's game on Mets pitching staff and went 2 for 3 (2 Doubles, 2 walks, and a Sac Fly) with 2 RBI's and 2 Runs. He, much like me, loathes the Mets.

Mat Gamel look's to be on the way to the bigs.

rotoworld.com

According to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, third-base prospect Mat Gamel is on his way to Milwaukee, presumably to be called up on Thursday.
Manager Doug Melvin would neither confirm nor deny the move, but the most likely scenario is that Gamel is replacing Brad Nelson (0-for-21) as the left-handed bat off the bench. The Brewers do have three interleague series coming up, so Gamel could fill in at DH next week. Melvin did say that Bill Hall is going nowhere, so the Brewers aren't making room at third base for Gamel.

When Brett Gardner homers off you, it's not your night.

Why do they let Berman try to talk baseball on ESPN? It makes my brain hurt.

Coghlan hit a bomb.

Good to hear.

Unfortunately for the rest of the NL east I think he is going to have a big impact on that team. ;)

the 2 guys right behind home plate at the yankees/blue jays game are hilarious

They've been there, dressed as umps, a few times this year. High comedy.

Rickie Weeks has been raking. 3-4 today so far with his 9th homerun. He's hitting close to .290 with pop. Could he finally be breaking out? He's been around a long time, but is still quite young.

Bay is ridiculous. His 2002 Finest RC Auto (only RC Auto) is still reasonable and could see nice growth if he continues raking.

Adrian Gonzalez with a pair of homers. Tied for the league lead with 13, and that's playing half his games in Petco. Another guy with just one RC Auto.

Soriano is quietly right near the league lead with 11 homers. Hit another one tonight.
