Oswalt with an excellent outing. He had one bad inning. 8 IP 3 ER 1 BB 9 K. That's his seventh straight quality start. Unfortunately it looks like the stros offense is screwing him over again. Most likely will be 2-5.

Great bounceback game by Kershaw today. After last week's horrendous outing against Milwaukee (1.1 IP, 7 earned), throwing 8 innings of 2-hit shutout ball has to be a big confidence booster. Broxton made it interesting by giving up two 2-out singles, but finally closed the door. Dodgers can't beat anyone else it seems, but they've won all three NL West matchups so far.
