Being one of the few attentive and logically thinking Yankee fans around, I'm gonna say the Yankees will have a TON of trouble against Hanson. They are historically horrible against pitchers they haven't seen before. Add in the fact that Hanson is more than just an unknown and I don't have many doubts he'll notch win #3 against them.

That being said, I hope I'm wrong.

I don't have any Rick Porcello cards. At all.


He did have another great start tonight though, 5.2, 1ER, 3Ks. Season ERA is down to 3.54.

He was also throwing really hard tonight in the intense heat of St Louis. He hit 96 on the gun 4 or 5 times and was consistently in the 93-95 range. His changeup was the best it has ever been this season and he made a lot of lefties look silly with it tonight.


And he's in line for win number 8 as long as the bullpen can hold it down. But when Bobby Seay and Zach Miner are in your bullpen, that's never a sure thing.

With the Braves OF being this bad, do you think it'd be completely crazy to just bring up Heyward (when he gets back and proves his health)? I mean, it's really bad. They need to make a deal or something.

They already made a deal to get Mclouth. They probably won't make another.
