I read a article today that the Royals are probably going to trade Alberto Callaspo this winter. Not sure to what team ,but they are looking to strike while the iron is hot. I have a stash of Callaspo ,so it wouldn't hurt my feelings if he got out of KC. Anyone club need a high contact hitter with pretty poor defense? He could be a good .315 12 70rbi infielder.

And is the toughest guy in the AL to strikeout.[/quote:2cqduk5i]

No kidding. He has more BB's than K's. Only 33K's in almost 500AB's.[/quote:2cqduk5i]

It's really pretty unbelievable actually, that's like a 6.2% strikeout rate.

They just said in the Tigers game that Placido Polanco is the 2nd toughest guy in the AL to strikeout behind Callaspo.

Porcello's night over: 7+ IP, 2 ER, 4 H, 1 K, 0 BB

And he's on for the win if Rodney can hold the Indians down in the 9th. Porcello has been completely in command lately. He has given up 2 runs or fewer in 5 of his last 6 starts.

He's a very good candidate for a long hit streak. He's put a few good ones together this year.

Considering the power numbers he puts up, Pujols having 55 Ks in 570 PA is more impressive, but he does this every year.

Absolutely, Pujols is the best hitter in the game by far.

You're exactly right though, it's one thing to get the bat on the ball 90%+ of the time...it's another thing entirely to get the bat on the ball 90%+ of the time AND lead the league with 42 homers and counting.
