Ryan Roberts on the way out of AZ
Diamondbacks designated INF Ryan Roberts for assignment.

Roberts has been a colossal disappointment this year after slugging 19 home runs in 143 games for Arizona in 2011. But the 31-year-old should draw considerable interest on waivers given the nearly league-wide need for infield depth. Look for him to be traded within the next several days.

Tonite's gotta be the first time in quite a while that Kershaw has been an Underdog in Vegas.

And really wish I could see Gio vs. Dickey tonite...

Travis Snider with his second HR since his call up
Now has a hit in all 4 games so far...if he can cut down his strikeouts he is going to be real good. Hopefully he is in Toronto to stay.

The other day Cain became the first Pitcher to hit HR off Hamels. Then Hamels hit his first career HR in the bottom of the inning.

"Chooch" w/ bases-clearing double as part of 6 run B8th. Another tough loss for Brewers?

A's smoking hot, now up 7-1. As an A's fan, all I can say is :o

Braves and Nats both win, lead still 4.5.

And Willingham 2 HRs (25).

Phillies score 6 in the bottom of the 8th. Brewers couldn't hold the 5 run lead and waste a nice start by Greinke.

Great comeback there Ruiz is the man! I wonder why the manager took out greinke so early he only threw 87 pitches? I guess he doesn't want to get greinke injured before he trades him.

Jordany Valdespin hits his 5th Pinch Hit HR of the season setting the Mets single season record....only two behind the All-Time record.

Dude has 7 HRs in 92 ABs this year.

Traded to the Rays for Tyler Bortnick
