This weekly Hot List is for those who want to see and/or discuss which MLB players had the most impactful last 7 days. It will be posted on Sundays using stats from Sundays to Saturdays. Feel free to bring up any player or players you believe should be top-10 or honorable mentions. In keeping with the Major League theme of the Hot List, the post-2005 rookie cards stated are a player's best official MLB true RC, not his best unlicensed, Minor League or prospect card.

He only had 4 at-bats in the last 7 days. These other guys raked the entire week. But now he is mentioned. : )

Too bad this list didn't come out a little later...he's now 11 for 16, and just went yard (3 on the year).

what about gattis?

His is a great story, but he hit .273 the past 7 days with only 6 hits. 3 HRs is nice, but 8 other players hit 3+ HRs. This list doesn't take into account stories, it's straight-up stats based and features players who played the majority of the last 7 days and were at or near the top of the leaderboards in more than one category. This is why I depend on others bringing up players. Adams and Gattis are performing well and certainly should at least be mentioned in the thread, and now are. :p

Harvey has been dominant...don't see how Jose Fernandez is not included on the list...Marlins offense is worst in MLB and he is getting no run support. He is missing a lot of bats, and showing maturity beyond his years. The no hit bid Harvey had working is top of mind for most which would put Fernandez a close second IMO...I would say Fernandez is matching Harvey thus far.

The top stat is a nice addition especially the more unusual stats like scherzer's k%.
