Why did the Dodgers pull Kershaw already? Is he hurt? 39 pitches.

Said he has been pretty sick with the flu for days. He looked rough in dugout after his long inning.

Yeah apparently he had been throwing up the entire day and Mattingly didn't want him to start in the first place but Kershaw insisted that he start.

Listened to a bit of the Jays-Indians game in the car on my way home from work and got hear Bautista's HR. After the kids went down I turned on the TV to get the final score and saw on the ticker 4-4 in the 14th! I got to catch Rajai Davis doing his deer in the headlights on a popped up bunt, and JP's 3-run HR that turned out to be the winner. Nice to see he still had some giddy-up in his swing after catching 15 innings!

Dodgers win!
Nice 8-)

Kershaw [with the flu, nonetheless] has the highest BA on the team

Maybin had a solid game on the other side....this might finally be the year he puts it all together.

Found this on MLB.com, pretty funny...is this a first?, an autographed ball used in a game.....

4/5 Opening Day souvenir

Actor Bill Murray autographed the ball he used for the ceremonial first pitch on Thursday and flipped it to Ryan Dempster for the game. Apparently, Dempster didn’t know it had been signed, “Good luck, Ryan.” As it turns out, the Nationals’ Ian Desmond singled off the first pitch from Dempster and wanted the ball as a souvenir from Opening Day. It wasn’t until he got back to the dugout and saw the ball and the autograph that he realized what he had.

Except that if you watched the game you'd have seen Murray throw the ball used for the first pitch into the stands immediately after...
