He threw one a few years ago, once again the reason you need to have must pay immediately setting on buy it nows!!

JJ. Nolasco, Volstad and now Anibal with a dominant start. Really hurts to loseMorrisson for a couple weeks but the Fish are for real this year. Im calling it now. Wild card is ours.

Won't go as far to say that...you would still have to get past the Braves and Rockies...

Still riding that World Series train eh? You really think the Rockies have no shot at winning the West?

You better hope Buster hits .455 with 70 HR...

Bruan HR (6).

Too soon for MVP talk?

Teixeira 6 HR
Granderson 6 HR

Too early for MVP talk?

;)
Hmmm. Same hr total for Braun and Tex whos hitting .259 and Braun .359

Mark Teixeira through 16 games in 2010:

.117 AVG - 1 HR - 6 RBI

Mark Teixeira through 16 games in 2010:

.259 AVG - 6 HR - 19 RBI

Teixeira wasn't hitting .259 until July 22nd in 2010 yet he still finished with 33 HR and 108 RBI.

I can't wait to see his final numbers.

I am happy to see Gomez hitting 3 hits with a hr tonight. He is still pretty young and has great speed, if he can continue to make more contact i would love to see him play more. I am probably the only one left still rooting for him. :(

Braves got Bumgarner out of the game in 2 2/3 innings.
He didn't have his best stuff, but he hasn't been getting ANY help from the umps this year...it must be frustrating as a pitcher to be getting squeezed that badly and the manager doesn't do **** but pull you.

Never said that, just said the would have to get past the Rockies, I don't think the Rockies pitching will hold up throughout the season. Plus, their season starts off easy then gets harder, Giants season starts off hard then gets easier.

Brett Wallace has looked a lot more comfortable at the plate. Hopefully some of his teammates will heat up soon too.

Dude, I'm rooting for him but his ERA is near 8! You can't blame that on the umps or manager... :?

And a rare Ryan Volgesong sighting! :D

That's his 2nd straight scoreless appearance. He's been out of the Majors since 2006. He was in Japan for a while, then milled around the independent leagues. He's from the High School down the street. The only Pro in any sport from there.

His ERA is near 8, but that is mainly from being squeezed in the Padres game and this one. But, I am just hoping he gets 3.5-4.15 ERA this year with 10 wins. Cain had a 4.15 ERA as a 21 year old so no worries about him.

I threw down a few bucks before the season on the Marlins to take the Wildcard. I think they have a legit chance, especially if Sanchez and Nolasco can be consistent. Morrison will need to come back and keep swinging the hot stick, but I think they're going to be in pretty good shape.

I'm sure he'll be fine too, but if he was just squeezed a little, his ERA wouldn't nearly that high, probably about half of that. ::facepalm::

You probably didn't see the Padres game where nothing he threw was called a strike. He got blown up in that game because he had to throw it down the pipe, but it is all good.

Ugh.

And not 'cuz Anaheim gave up 2 goals in 2 minutes to lose. :(
Hate the Ducks, a completely classless organization, hopefully Nashville can make it to the WCF only to lose to the Sharks! If the Sharks don't win the Cup this year I hope it is the Preds.
