This is getting to the point that I've talked to guys that wonder if this "epidemic" isn't a way for teams to make decent pitchers even better. TJ surgery is so good now, that it is actually making pitchers better. They are making robo-pitchers. And you have to wonder what the philosophical difference is between surgically altering a human body to make him better/repair an injury, and chemically altering the human body to make him better/repair an injury (that's always been my dad's big question).

That's ridiculous, and if it were true, then why have so many pitchers (Josh Johnson, Kris Medlen, Brandon Beachy, Jarrod Parker, Matt Riley, Al Reyes, etc.) needed a second TJ surgery?
And Stephen Strasburg had a better K/9 innings ratio in his rookie season before his TJ surgery, than after.
