I had both last year - if you recall, I posted a link to the free MLB.tv through Ford or something, so I think a lot of us got in on it. It was freakin' awesome.
I've had EI for years, and with a big screen TV, it makes sense to do it. It was great to come home and watch almost every Phillies game that was on. But it was nice to go in the bedroom away from the big TV (and speakers that keep the kids up) and allow the wife to read/watch TV and I could have my laptop with MLB.Tv on it.
Would I pay for it for that reason? No.
Would I share a password with someone else....? Maaaaaaaaaybe.... Anyone heard about doing that in the past?
For what it's worth, don't forget that MLB.tv blacks out your local games. This is a huge issue.
