I was thinking it would be very cool to have an images forum, especially for some of the rarer stuff that doesn't surface often. I suppose this could get very messy, but it could also be a great resource if care was taken with it by members.

I was thinking within the forum could be threads for sets. Of course, for earlier years, this works great! The vintage stuff typically only has base cards, so a thread for 1956 Topps images would be nice and neat. However, when you start looking at the stuff with inserts and parallels, etc., this might get messy.

There has to be a way to organize the modern stuff though that would allow us to have access to images. Think about a thread of just the images from stuff from Topps Sterling or Triple Threads or Exquisite that could be made and how amazing it would be to just be able to look at what you are interested in.

Of course, I'd want it to be a true image archives, so it would be important that they aren't just photobucket pictures that are imaged in and then will disappear when you the user erases the pic or the photobucket account. Perhaps setting a rule that the image would have to be added as an attachment such that a copy is uploaded directly to FCB servers where it resides forever unless admin removes it.

It's just an idea and I'm obviously open to input and suggestions from others about how to get this done. I'm also happy to be as involved in the process of upkeeping it and maintenence as admin may find helpful.

I have scans of the fronts and backs of almost every Topps base card from 1952-2010, if this would help anyone.

Well, this would be an amazing start to the idea. If they were all in numerical order, even better - that's a concept I didn't think could possibly be achieved, but maybe if you already have them all.

I think instead of tracker threads have a page broken down by year and set of what has been pulled with pics of 1/1s. People searching for cards might get pulled to the site from this.

Chris, I'd venture to say that 95% of the community has no idea those exist and wouldn't think to look there. This site, to me, is all about the forums and everything I look for is within them. There are probably some very cool features on here that many of us don't know about.

They all are in numerical order separated in folders by year.

All you have to do is create a thread about your album.

We are trying to make this site about more than just a forum. That is the key to it's growth.

Just wait until the video chat rooms make there way here for group breakers. That's gonna be tight.
