Morning All!

It's MLK Day so that means Im off work (UAW paid holiday). Weather is cold and clear in Cincy.
Was asked by a friend of a long time ago to help him manage his finances because he makes $75,000+ a year and doesnt have a pot to pi$$ in. Im going to dive into his records (if there are any) and see where his $$$ goes. My guess; horse track, casino or broads. I'll post an update.

Enjoy your day all!

Good morning all. Just getting ready to go to class and then have a 9 hour break before the second class for the day. I would normally be saying that I'm excited for the three day week, but with my schedule every week is lol

Good Morning Gents! Rough weekend as the little guy had been having tummy issues the last couple of weeks. We spent a large part of Saturday at Seattle Children's Hospital for a ton of tests and luckily they all came back fine. He has been happy and chipper all yesterday which was outstanding to see.

Good afternoon all. PSA of the day: Make sure you check ebay before you go to bed if you are looking for that one card. Hit a BIN on this to complete the rainbow(minus plates).

Howdy fellas. It's a beautiful, 60 degree and sunny, day here in Kansas. Hope all is well with everyone. I'm one of the blessed that gets today off with pay.

At work, we have a team meeting, twice a day. To start the morning, and right after lunch. Thursday, during our lunch meeting, the big boss lady came out to visit with us. This usually means bad news, but not this time.

We were told of some changes being made. We now get more personal time, and they've put it on a scale by seniority. Having been there for 9 years, I now get 80 hours of personal time, to go with my 120 hours of vacaton (which bumps to 160 hours within the year). We were also told that we will now be getting end of year bonuses. This is all to get us in line with the mother plant, in Wichita. Funny thing is, the Wichita plant is union, and we are not. We have the same pay scale, and exact same benefits, that they pay monthly dues to acquire. I think corporate is trying to show the Wichita plant, that they do not need the union. I'm glad, and more than happy to receive the extra benefits.

So since I don't have a lot of will power, I took advantage on 2 of eBay's 4x eBay bucks offer last month.

First pick up

So we just got back from the antique mall, and I know we haven't even covered half the BLDG due to it's massive size, but I did manage to find these bad boys under some post cards and I had to bring them home.

Well tonight was the Twins Caravan in Sioux Falls, SD where my dad lives. My dad was kind enough to go and get me some autographs. The guys on his stop were Jack Morris, Brian Duensing, Brian Dozier, and broadcaster Dick Bremer. I didn't know what to have Dozier sign because I have a few items I want signed by him, but they are ones that I want to get done myself. So I printed off an 8x10 of this photo for Dozier to sign. My dad texted me just now and Dozier told him that he has the same picture hanging up back home. I have something in common with Brian Dozier because I printed an 11x14 of it as well to hang on the wall.

In the last couple of years dozier has really turned into one of my favorite players. I have the very first ball pitched from his first career multi home run game
