Good morning! Yesterday's pics are getting me in the mood to get the grill out!!!!!!!!!

AAHH coffee / meds taken . Haven't been told about today = van still in shop limits what we can do .
Now for all those hating to work = I started mid 1950's selling penny candy for a profit walked to school passed a candy store , 1960's collected bottles from stock yard , 1970's worked at Rec , set type at printer company --that's when you built a form set EACH LETTER , set up machine ,Played poker -shot pool for over a year, Dispatcher POLICE DEPT --my desk was about 8 feet of computers - got free training = now they carry in pockets . NAPA 24 years many as warehouse manager same time ran a shift at resturant / bartender 3 years = two jobs 70 hours a week,14 years at a toilet paper company -manager of warehouse . ADD family travelled = dads job conventions plus my trips = 36 states and Canada twice .Flown to Biloxi ,Ms. for weekend in casinos, Chicago for trip to Osh Kosh to finalize job interview for job HERE trained in Memphis. Missed Viet Nam by under 100 numbers went on a 5000 mile bar hopping trip 16 states 1974= Yellowstone , Bend ,Ore , Vegas = home. Several National Water Ski Tournament -watching live in South Georgia = 50,000 partying . 1980's. Now I've had 5 operations , 9 meds a day . Only three main things on my want list --Denver Bronco home game , have my first car on road again and find Mother's parents graves ---poor in Georgia 1930's not much done .
SO IF YOU REALLY HATE WORKING YOU BETTER WIN LOTTO ----I DIDN'T .

Denver is only place I really want to go back to . I've been to Yankee stadium on a weekend when they played Red Sox ---lower level up from first base , Niagara Falls twice , BIG Pirate fan weekend games there, Walked on Boise State blue football field , Air Show in Oshkosh .
Used outhouse at Dad's home site in Alabama till mid 1970's . NEVER thought I'd be 30 next month 72 -married at 28 . So many I know never did anything and most had plenty of money .

Morning all! Bennett's kidney biopsy went as good as possible on Friday. We were told we would be there for 4-6 hours after the procedure, but it was only 2. Got home around 7:30 Friday night. Had an easy weekend at the house after that. Now just waiting for the baby to decide she's ready to come out as well

Afternoon all! Broke down and bought a Blackstone. Finally tried it out yesterday. Just made some burgers, they were great. It will take some getting used to, especially the heat. I didn't have it hot enough. Going to get a thermometer and try again this week.

Afternoon all! Broke down and bought a Blackstone. Finally tried it out yesterday. Just made some burgers, they were great. It will take some getting used to, especially the heat. I didn't have it hot enough. Going to get a thermometer and try again this week.

I got a Blackstone last summer and use it weekly. Even in the winter I was always using it. We do a lot of stir fry and fajitas on it. Lots of food and quick that way.

Just got the results back on the biopsy today. Not bad when we were told Wednesday for results. Minor scarring, but he said that's a good thing when he's been fighting this HSP since it shows the kidney is healing. They are putting him on a steroid for 2 months, along with his other prescription. Then we have to do a weekly labs on his first pee of the day as well. Hopefully the lab costs aren't too expensive, haha
