Lol
No!
Just heard on the radio that Midwest, Wyoming may get up to 2 FEET of snow between today and tomorrow! Yuck! Already started a little bit ago and wind is blowing hard. Sucks to work outside (6 months of the year).
Good Afternoon Gents! Fun day today. Started off the morning making home made eggs Benedict for Jen and I. At the post office sending out a package and picking one up. Then it is off to the EMP and Science Fiction museum downtown Seattle. Finishing the day with 90 minute massages and sushi for dinner. Not a bad day before we both return to wrk tomorrow![]()
Okay then, let the carbo-load begin. Who knew she needed to be this popular?
If you got one of these in the mail, how would you go about addressing it? It's because he re-used a mailer and didn't tape it shut well.

Well it's pretty clear by the label the Post gave you that you didn't get anything lol... I think you're pretty safe saying you didn't get what he sent. Ask for a refund if it was an eBay purchase and tell him he shouldn't reuse those any longer IMO
Was actually a trade. Sent a couple Matt Moore autos as a Jesus Montero finest auto for Hosmer Tier 1 and Finest RC autos. I wouldn't normally have any qualms, but it was on Blowout.

The feedback should reflect the transaction. Just because it was a trade, you gave up something of monetary value for something in return. That entails proper care in packing. There's no excuse in any "non-freebie" transaction for reusing something, especially in THAT shape. Put him on blast.

I am so dumb. I thought I had put the reserve price at $500! I am soooo sorry. I need to cancel our transaction. This is the first time that I have done eBay, it won't happen again. I left you a message on your phone as well.
Have a great day!

SInce you're new to eBay, I just want to make it clear. Did you research Koufax auto sales? Aside from sentimental value, what led you to the "$500 reserve"? I sent you a pretty detailed message through eBay (which is the proper course for resolution since it allows eBay to document all communication.
Very few Koufax autos reach $500... and those are very rare pieces, non-personalized pieces, baseballs, jerseys or manufacturer-authenticated sport cards.
Here is an unauthenticated, non-personalized 8x10 (in Color) : Sandy Koufax Autographed 8x10 Framed Dodgers | eBay
Here is an AUTHENTICATED, color, non personalized 8x10: Dodgers Legend Sandy Koufax Hand Signed 8x10 Photo JSA Hologram COA | eBay
Keep in mind, the cost of getting JSA to authenticate Koufax is between $50 and $75, alone.
The majority of authenticated, color, non personalized 8x10's (featuring Koufax in a game situation or Dodger specific pose) run between $100 and $200 depending on the imagery.
The fact that this on is personalized is a huge detractor. The fact that it is not a bold signature is a huge detractor. The fact that it is not authenticated is a huge detractor.
I'm sorry you feel that the final price is not what you intended, but it is an accurate reflection of the value of the item on an open market.
I am so damn tired of eBay sellers that back out of stuff because it doesn't go how they want it.
I set a snipe for this item: Los Angeles Dodger Sandy Koufax Photo with Personalized Autograph | eBay
I easily win it. I am taking a shot on an out of focus, non authenticated, black and white personalized photo. How much does it cost to get Koufax authenticated with JSA, again? ($75 FOR FULL LETTER)
So.. I receive an email about 10 minutes later from eBay with a notice that the seller has requested my contact info (keep in mind - 0 feedback seller). 5 minutes later - a phone call. I don't answer it, but I listed to the voice mail. The woman tells me she forgot to set a reserve and does no intend to let it sell for less than a "couple hundred dollars."
I then send a message through eBay referencing a phone call laying out how the price actually represents a fair value on the item and auction. Well - then I receive this e-mail:
Yeah, I could... but I am tired of babying people for their mistakes.
I'm not mean, but I wanted to make sure things are laid out:
So. What would you guys do? Cut her a break? Be honest with her (as I was) about the costs associated and make her honor the sale... or let her do what she will and let eBay settle it through an Item Not Received claim?
