Brad, did you get your ticket from stubhub?

Wednesday is my usual day off, so I am looking into going to this game!!

Craigslist... seller seems really nice and has two tickets to most games available at face minus surcharges (so most are $6-$8 less). I might get a couple of games from him. He's going to the 100th anniversary game, so he only had the 1 extra. I might get a couple of games from him for the really good giveaways this year - some nice bobbleheads and such this year!

Hope you can make the game and maybe meet up and have a beer beforehand. A day of playing hooky from work and the game is my birthday present to myself (although birthday is 7 days later).

I bet the season ticket stubs from this game will sell for $15-$25 by themselves.

I will have to go through craigslist again when I have more time.

I just spent a few minutes on there seaching "cubs 4/23", and it seems like
a HUGE jumble of all different games/sellers/scammers/etc.

Well I gave my presentation today. It went fairly well I thought. Now I'm off to the pharmacy to get some meds for my allergic reaction. Its worse this time than it was the first time. No clue what is causing it either.

So I had my appendix out in October. While I was in the hospital, I gave everyone that asked about my address, my current address. So come to find out some of the bills were sent to my mom's house in Ohio (where surgery was performed). I never once gave that address while I was at the hospital or any follow up appointment I had. I have not lived at my mom's or even in Ohio for almost 5 years. So I just got a couple of bills and wrote checks for them. One was $10 and one was $20. I called them today and told them check was on the way and was delayed so long because someone used an address I did not provide. I guess they were both turned into collection agencies. I will dispute any negatives that do pop up, but I was told they should get everything before it goes against me. This whole situation could have been avoided had anyone paid attention to what I said when they asked. I had an Iowa license and clearly stated I lived out of state and gave my address. Just pisses me off!

Same thing happened to my husband. He lived in Akron and some of his mail was still going to his parents' house. They didn't realize what it was and his medical bills (I think) went into collection. He paid it as soon as he found out, but it took quite a while to get everything straightened out. It you are persistent with getting on the people to get things moving it may work itself out quicker.
Good luck, I know it isn't fun.

Good evening all!
I'm jealous of you guys that live close enough to go to MLB games.
It's the one and only thing I miss about living in or close to a large metropolitan area.
Atlanta is the closest to me and it's still 4 1/2 to 5 hours away.

Went and picked up my prescription. Was thinking of grabbing a couple of packs of Heritage and Opening Day while there, but decided against it since I'm going out of town this weekend to watch my girlfriend's track meet. That means I'm gonna be swinging by my favorite LCS, but I'm also wondering what he has left for baseball. He had a guy just about clear him out of baseball products the last few months. The guy got his inheritance and spent $20k at the shop on just baseball stuff. I was told that he was in ever 2-4 days spending $1-3k on baseball boxes for 2-3 months. While talking with the shop owner, he said he think he probably should have handled it differently, that way he still had some baseball product in, but he never knew when the guy was going to stop spending. But then I also had to tell him, $20k is $20k. Yeah, it makes it tough for some of the other baseball guys that come in, but as a shop owner, how can you handle that differently?

My day was just made infinitely better. My new running shoes came! Customized Nike LungarGlide 5's. 3rd pair of LG5's.

When I got my last shoes in December I took this photo. I call this "The evolution of the LunarGlides" (LG1, 2, 2, 3, 3, 4, 4, 5, 5). From the 4th one on (first LG3) they are all customized :)

I get a little excited about my running shoes, haha. Sorry for the post.

Have you seen the nike ketchikan running shoe ? They were specifically designed for our odd terrain and perpetual wetness

I have not seen them. I haven't looked too much into trail shoes. Nike makes an awesome product so I am sure they are awesome.

And I was sorry because I know most people probably don't have any interest in running shoes, and I'm new-ish. I'm just a little weird like that, I guess :)

Oh, and you can see how a medical student spends her extra time...organizing her running shoes by generation to get the perfect picture. I mean, who doesn't? :)

Lol that's perfectly alright. I don't mind and I don't think anyone else will either.
I have a pair of keen trail shoes I use for the gym and running. Thicker and clunkier but they provide the support I need

If I were able to run the distances you do, I'd have my shoes bronzed!
Your shoes are arranged like my OCD closet. All my clothes are hung by color w/in category.

Half the guys here have no interest in stuff I post, they just understand and respect (hopefully) the collections (mine and others). My opinion post whatever you want. If someone doesn't like it who cares? You enjoy it so that's what matters. Everyone here should appreciate that.

I enjoy seeing what others collect. My passion is just that, mine and I collect for what it means to me. The folks here in the MT understand that and that's what keeps me coming back and posting my wins/finds/purchases.

Been a long day. Struggling to get motivated to do yoga tonight. That crap is rough on someone who's only lifted weights, and has no flexibility. Here we go though. If I don't post by morning, I had a heart attack.
