Thankfully my father in law is awesome at pretty much any/all home repairs. I dont know how this is going to play out but I have my fingers crossed that its fixable. The unit it only 10 years old...

Like Apharis said, its hot down south. And as luck would have it, my AC broke on saturday.
Cant wait to hear how much this is gonna cost. We know someone that just had to buy a new unit to the tune of 8k.

its a sign that if I had, i would have to turn around...thats for certain. Not sure a wife/dog/6 month old would be that happy at all with me at the national...

Hopefully just a compressor etc. that the FIL can replace/fix.MojoDan said:Thankfully my father in law is awesome at pretty much any/all home repairs. I dont know how this is going to play out but I have my fingers crossed that its fixable. The unit it only 10 years old...
Yep, this is a "Get it Fixed or Else" situation. Been there. Done that. If it were me, it better appear that I was working on fixing the problem every waking second or there'd be hell to pay. Even if I'm on the can or blowing my nose I better look like I'm jotting notes down or reading a manual or something to get to the quickest possible solution  GL Dan! I hope it's an easy fix!MojoDan said:If replacing the wiring/motor doesnt work today, I cant envision a way to afford a new AC...
mox - if that were to happen, your wife would probably take my side and that would be the end of your lawncare service. Women stick together for stuff like that. I'd imagine that I would have to put on some sunblock because I'd be the one on the roof, then I'd have to pay for repairs. So you see, there's no getting out of this cheap. Vicious cycle...
I would assume you want player pics? If it's hi-res you need, those are hard to come by. I think there are only a couple places that post pics big enough to be good quality when they are shrunk down for hi res output. MLB.com has some I think (it's been a while), but in google Images, I know you can specify only large image files are found, which would be adequate for hi-res output.chashawk said:Dave - this is completely OT, but where do you look for hi-res photos?
I've already tried yahoo/google/photobucket/et al.
I may have to just buy some 8x10's and scan them myself:shock:

Thanks Dave. Yeah, I can find TONS of stuff for more current/popular players.wideright said:I would assume you want player pics? If it's hi-res you need, those are hard to come by. If you are just doing graphics for a sig or web site, you only need lo-res, but at a decent file size (inches, not kilobytes). If you have to enlarge a file from a very small pixel size the image will be very fuzzy. Usually for banner or avatars etc, google does the trick for me.
