3/$48m remains Buehlre's 4/$54m contract.

That's a big reason they are saying this was pre-meditated. They gave big contracts, but only paid pennies for one year, all the money is after that.

Reyes goes from 10 mil in year one, to 22 mil per the next 4 years, or something like that.
Buehrle goes from 6 mil to 12+ per year after.

Sure contracts get backloaded, but it's usually a steady 1-2 mil per year. These were pretty blatant.
