Isn't every autograph that is for sale,a IP autograph?

Before I state this..I'm a IP collector,and I don't personally sell my stuff,not because of monetary value..but I like the memory.

BUT what's the difference between Steiner selling you a autograph vs. a reputable IP chaser?

PS-That Harper doesn't look good,at all,It MAY be a older autograph,but even then..Sorry man :-(

WHO CARES IF IT IS IP. If you know it is a real autograph and the person selling knows it is 100% real there should never be a problem if there is dont sell and dont buy. Im tired of this you got it in person so it is worthless mindset. It is stupid. If it is the same autograph you can pay for and sell then why can you not get it at a game and sell it. Last night I payed 85 dollars for a ticket to the Cardinals game, if I get an autograph on a $15 ball and pay for gas to get there +$15 to park im over $115+ for that autograph. Someone will say you cant factor all of that in well why not? If groceries and mail can go up with the price of gas and such why does IP autographs not count.

And here comes I am entitled to everything cause I want to have fun excuse. If you cant afford gas and a ticket to a game maybe its time you get your priorities straightened out and rely less on begging for free stuff to sell.

How is it free. There is a cost to going to a game. I don't beg for anything, I place myself in a spot where I believe I have a shot of getting an autograph and ask politely when a player comes by if he has time to sign. If he signs great if he doesnt oh well. Most of the autographs I have got IP I keep. The only one I have sold is Barry Larkin. I get 1 item signed and step out of the way for someone else. I can afford gas and tickets, in fact I am leaving to go to a game in half an hour, my 4th game in 5 days. Also if you were walking down the street and someone was giving out gold and silver you would'nt accept it and then sell it when you needed cash? Because that is kind of the same as walking into a stadium bryce harper giving out signatures for free and then selling it when you need the cash............

I bought the SI back in October of 2009.. Pre-Craze meaning before every ******* and his twin brother was pushing little kids over to get his autograph....
and before the high horse police comes at me.. I saw this at Harper's first game in Rome, and also in the fall league the past two years..
As for the legimacy of the Harper... At the time I bought it, his autograph was not selling for the ridiculous amounts they are now. I spoke with Bob at BP Sports today and it appears that JSA is coming back in October.. so that answers my question..
As for selling IP autographs. I don't mind trading them. But I would not selling them as its a memory for me. When I have extra cards, I give them to kids around me so that they can also have a memory of the autograph.
I have a hard time with someone making a "living" off IP autographs.. and yes, there are a few out there, a few here in Atlanta. Again, that is my opinion.. I like my collection, and a few on here can attest, I have a great collection..

I've never been shy about selling. I usually get 4 autographs. 1 for myself and 3 to sell.

Looks pretty cool to me and the auto looks good. I would get it slabbed by beckett, would add protection to the magazine and prove the auto is authentic.

yea I tell myself that too..I just don't want to be one of those "hypocrites" nothing makes me madder than when I am getting IP autos there is a guy with 40 things to be signed.. I mean.. really?? do we know what you are doing with that?? haha

here it is though.. I got this like in November of 2009. It has been in a file folder since

Thanks! THink it is authentic too. I have his auto from 2009, 2010, and 2011. They are all different every year. I might post a photo of all three.. two of them were IP.
