Well the stros are prone to slow starts but for anyone watching the games over the past couple of days...they have been dominated.I mean seriously B#tch slapped.Its pretty bad.With the kind of team we have this should not be happening.I know people say they get off to a slow start and all and the season is 162 games but come on!At least show some signs of life.Right now they are flopping around like a fish.

Our pitching...not so much.But Wandy is pretty darn sharp as long as he does not lose his cool.With Pudge behind the plate and him being a fellow Spanish speaker...I feel that Wandy will be better this year.I just don't think Q or Brad knew how to handle him.As for Oswalt...he has lost his touch.Hopefully he regains it.Moheler should be better than he is doing now.He was decently solid last season.Hampton is a coin flip but hey...its better than Backe.
As for hitting...here is where I would expect them to be good.Kaz is a good lead off guy and good defensively.Bourn can create hell on the bases provided he can get on which he has been better doing so so far.Pence is a coin flip but he is not making adjustments.Once he can...he'll be a perrenial all star.Pudge is on the downswing of his career but he is still a better offensive catcher than we have had for quite some time now.Berkman and Lee are no joke and I think Berkman is one of the best hitter in the NL behind Pujols of course.Lee needs to step it up defensively and offensively.Blum is Blum.Keppinger has been better than expected.And Miggy is doing better than expected both offensively and defensively.Between him and Kaz they have put together some very amazing plays already.Its also why the astros middle infield had so few errors last year(although Kaz was out for a good portion of the season).
My point is we are or should be a lot better than our record indicates.It just seems like some people have their head up their behinds.
