MORE ON-CARD AUTOGRAPHS IN TOPPS T206

Although the 2009 Topps T206 Baseball selling information solicited
autographed cards featuring stickers, Topps is pleased to announce that 80%
of the Autographs in the product are Signed On-Card (see image "Piedmont"
attached)! Topps T206 (100th Anniversary Ed.) just shipped and guarantees 2
Autographs and/or Relics in every box!

Hmm, I was looking forward to this product but the frames on those cards are pretty ugly. I am all for more products with oncard autos but they should go all or nothing, having a set 80% oncard and the other 20% stickers is pretty silly.

I'd also think that the stickers are going to be the bigger names.

Nothing like a promo image of three cards of players who aren't immediately recognizable.

Go marketing team!

Exactly what I was thinking, Mike! Let's hope that these guys are not the biggest names in the auto set :?

JustinG08 - Agreed, this product should be 100% on card like the last Topps T206 products...stickers ruin the vintage feel IMO

Anyone else rather the on-card auto's not be framed?

Either that or have the frames more like the original set released a few years back, much cleaner look imho.

I really can't see this product with stickers considering how small they have to be to fit on these cards. It really makes you wonder why they all can't be oncard considering Topps wouldnt be able to use regular sized stickers on this product they might already have laying around.

THese pictures have been out for three months, how did nobody know what they look like. The Framed On-Card auto's aren't even on the Sell Sheet.

Yes, I am tired of the stupid frames cards like these and the Topps Allen & Ginter have.Cards should be normal size, and not stuck inside some ugly frame so they can flop around inside the frame over time.

Personally, since I buy the retro style cards for me to enjoy, I just liberate them from the silly full sized bordered windows. I've done that the past few years with A&G, and that's what I'll do with these. That way I can put them in the 15-pocket pages that're made for tobacco cards.
