More Suspicious Topps Memorabilia?

What "Memorabilia" is that Mark Teixeira from?

The only other time that I have seen that type of pinstripe from a Yankees was from a Sportsking Jeter.

Does anyone know what this is from?

I doubt that it is Game Used, unless the Yankees have special pinstiped socks :lol:

I can't think of a single place that this material could come from.

The Yankees have been using the same pinstripe since the late 70s.

The Yankees haven't played in any throwback Jerseys since TeiXeira has been on the team.

Really, I have no idea.

It's the back side of a pinstripe. One of the old topps gold label sets had swatches where you can see the front and back of a pinstriped swatch.

Pinstripes are a solid color, the threading through the blue is an indicator that it is the back of the pinstripe where the threading shows.

With Topps being the official trading card partner (and only) of MLB, there should be no doubt that a current player's jersey swatches are authentic.

Because some people live on drama and think that they are super hobby sleuths.

Or because Topps could have screwed up and the haters would be able to come out in droves with their pitchforks and torches.

Honestly, I'm not sure which is more appropriate in this situation. Then again, I've been up for 22 hrs straight so no one should listen to me.

Yes, because why shouldn't you fully trust a company with no competition and a borderline monopoly.
There's never a lack of quality control in situations like that........

Seen enough deceptive wording, mistakes, and other crazy things with these cards, that while the minority, would still validate some skepticism. And not that Topps is creating fakes - just seems a lot of the time those creating these products seem to not know about what their making....i.e.- - putting in the Tex patch backwards. When you make mistakes like that, then it can create some questions and/or confusion.

That is not my card... Mine was from 2010 Heritage (I think the Heritage version is better in my opinion). Still that is a nice card. You guys should check out my newest pulls. packsearcher91...
