Good morning.
I'm off to start setting up my classroom this morning. I can't believe that time has come already.

This is week 2 already at my school. :(

Morning fellas!

Week 2? Seriously? Is it a charter school?

Morning guys!

Darren was really up early, I was here at about 530 and was waaaaaay too late
Don't get used to not starting the MT, mister. Tomorrow you're back on the job! (I'm trying to be subtle. Is it working? :D )

I think I'll make mini-cinnamon rolls for breky for the boys. They devour them things

Today is meet your teacher day. My kindergartner is all excited, should be fun. KC are you a homeroom teacher too? (not sure how exactly to word that...)

I was up, the thread was not up yet, so I figured why not. Trust me I do not plan on making a habit out of this at all!!! :D :D :D :D
Sorry Darren, don't mind me. Just my anal side coming out  ::facepalm::

Hey beefy- how's the iPhone as far as quality and price? You guys got any specials? I'm due for a new phone and have been looking at switching.

No worries! My brother loves his Iphone.

Uh-oh, here comes the salesman pitch.

Art

I don't even pitch people in my store it's more "Here it is, if you want it, cool. I'm not pushing you." I hate when people say "Sell me on it." You came in the store, you obviously want to buy something.

Charlie: Baby coming home. How exciting! I bet the room will look great!

Beefy: I used to work as an opening shift manager at a BK store when I was 16 (hey, it was the only place close to my house, and I made $7.50 and hour). I'd get there to prep around 5 in the morning, and truckers would start getting there around 5:15 when the store didn't open until 6. They beat and bang on the doors wanting us to open early, when they didn't realize we couldn't turn the registers on until 6.

Morning guys.

I am little late hopping in today, but I was dispatching humvees, so I wasn't near a computer.

Missed the Sox/Tigers game highlights this morning, hopefully I see them during dinner tonight, so I can have a better insight into what REALLY happened.

Is it possible to "become" OCD? Cuz I think I'm right there ::facepalm::

KC- multi-box, eh? Score some brownie points right off the bat. Good call. BTW- I commend you for teaching at that grade level. That's a tough age.

Morning AK, AP, Steve!

Morning AK, AP, Steve!

Absolutely...one of my favorite students last year made his first impression when his mother brought me 10 boxes of tissues. Of course, his mother was pretty hot, too, so that helps.
Kids that age are a little better in school than out of school. At the beginning of the year, I can definitely intimidate them a little bit (when needed), and that keeps them in line. 8th grade, though, forget it. I don't think I could do it.

Steve - do you go 180 days with more/longer breaks? Or are you a 225-day system?

You really have to admire Josh for standing there for what seems weeks now with that raptor.

You, my friend, are a clever combination of brave and dumb.

Good morning to everyone who showed up after me :D

So, I am thinking about dabbling in some pre-WWII vintage stuff. I have hopes of getting some low grade 30's Goudey and some ungraded T series stuff (205, 206, 209, etc).

Does anyone know of anywhere other than net54 and eBay to find really, REALLY old vintage?
