Morning all! Nice day, going to get the yard mowed this evening so I don't have to do it this weekend. Busy weekend ahead.

Never had any cool cars growing up. Just something that would run to get me to school/work. After I got out of school I've pretty much only owned 4WD trucks, nothing special.

Picked this up in 1978

Had a 69 Charger pulled the 440 out and put in a 340 from a wrecked 70 SCCA racing Cuda.
And a 71 Vette with a 454 LS5

Man I love all the old muscle cars and they were all over the place way back when.
Unfortunately you hardly ever see them anymore unless you go to a classic car show.

74 Laguna with a LT1, four barrel and dual exhausts.........would pass anything but a gas station

So an interesting little story that you reminded me of Danny.
My cousin and I were in my 68 Impala and it ran out of gas. Luckily we were only about a half a block from a gas station so we pushed it there. I put $10 in it which was a lot of the time because I was only used to putting in $2 or $3 at a time.
Went to start it back up and the battery was dead. So the guys at the gas station had to pull the wrecker out to jump it.
Got it started and took off out of the gas station and not even 50 yards up the road the gas tank fell off! I wrapped a couple bungee cords around it to hold it up so we could get back to my cousin's house.
Good times!

My dumb ass brother bought a used car from a friend of his back around 1985. The car was so rusted out, he hit a big pothole. The engine broke off the mounts and ended up on the ground.

My brother blew up the engine in my fathers car, because of no oil in it. My father made me pay for a new engine. My father says because my brother didn't have a job and I did.
