Morning guys.......dark gloomy day here......looks like fall is on its way.

Great games last night althought neither of the winners should have won. I guess that's what a tradition of losing does to a club. It seems both the Bills and Raidaz will always find a way to lose.......sorry wide....

My Grandmother (I don't know if step-grandmother is a term or not ) passed away this morning. I know my Dad is going to be taking it pretty hard. I haven't been able to get ahold of him yet. He and her were very close.

Dave (wide)- Sorry buddy. I know how you're feeling. I kept watching the game and I was impressed with the Bills. I thought they were going to pull that one out.

I just can't figure out when this happens, what is going through the guys' mind. Why couldn't he have just gone down?!? Ah well, you learn to live with the pain. You become numb to it after awhile. Kind of like the Red Sox before 2004. You always, ALWAYS expected there to be some way that they'd lose the big game.

Joe- thanks bud. Sorry to hear about your step g-mother. Hope your Dad is ok.

It was a trivia contest he had awhile back. Surprisingly, the answer to the trivia was....Andre Dawson!

Thanks guys. I finally got to talk to my Dad. He's not taking it well at all. Unfortunately, Crystal and I don't have the time or the money to make it up to Cincinnati for the funeral.

Andrew- Yes, a lot of our family is up there. His brother and sister are there. So they're all working on the plans and everything. He said he would call me with the details late this afternoon or this evening.

Hey guys, I'm going to take the floor for a shameless plug really quick. I know some of you know about the monthly football break I am in. It's a lot of fun and a great way to grow your collection. We've done some cases before, so you pay your slot price and you get all the cards pulled of your team. There are 32 teams, but we only have 16 participants so that you get the team you picked, plus you get a second team (done through random.org) from the left over available teams. We do that so you have double the chances of getting a hit! This month we're doing 4 boxes of SPX and 2 boxes of Absolute. It's going to be a lot of fun. If you sign up and take a team, that team is yours every month until you decide to let them go. If you do let them go, someone else can take them and keep them as long as they want.

As for duals, triples, quads, etc. If one is pulled, whatever team the first player is on is the team the card goes to.

Ugh. It's been another crappy day. It's been raining off and on all day again. It's been like that the last few days.

I hope Dunn has a good night against the Phillies tonight. 3 more HRs and it makes 6 consecutive 40+ HR seasons. I would love to see him get over 40, but as long as he reaches 40, I'll be happy. He's only 1 more RBI away from 100. That should be a definite.

Tramers- It varies. This month is $67 and next month will be $65. The goal is to try and keep it in the $50-70 range every month.

These are the teams that are already taken: Bengals, Cotls, 49ers, Lions, Dolphins, Cardinals, Jets, Packers, Steelers, Raiders, Giants, Broncos, Buccaneers, Vikings, and Eagles.

Any team NOT on that list is still available. Like I mentioned, if you purchase a team, you will also be given a second team (it will differ each month) so that you have an extra shot at some hits.
