Oh my..the saga continues with Riley Hospital...wonderful.

Well, my mom spoke to the ADMINISTRATOR of the hospital over the weekend and she told my mom that she would call back today. Well today mom's cell phone rings and she's not in the room, and I notice the area code-317-is the area code for Indianapolis (or at least the part where Riley is). I answer it, she asks to speak to my mom, and she proceeds to tell my mom there was a scheduling error and my appointment is tomorrow. Wonderful.

Dave, you're a fortune teller, I swear. You called it. It is indeed tomorrow, not NEXT Tuesday! We have a "special" among us.. :? :shock:

Oh, did I forget to mention that when I got this walking boot on (last visit), they told me to treat it like a fiberglass cast? Yeah, so my foot is now rubbed raw on the bottom and I have blisters all over my toes. My mom calls up there and asks what could possibly be wrong and my surgeon's nurse says "Wait, you mean you haven't been taking it off to take a shower and let it air out and stuff?"

Whoa whoa whoa, they told me to keep it out of the shower by hanging it outside the tub like I did with the cast. They told me not to take it off for ANYTHING..these people are messed up.

So now we may have to leave tonight and I won't get my Kinsler collection shopping done, as there is an auction I badly want ending tonight.

Ant- Sorry to hear that bud. When I move up there, I plan on never going to that hopsital.

Tramers- Nice pick up! I hear that guy in the Reds uniform was a decent ball player.

So Alex has been wanting to see scans of my Griffeys. I didn't get much scanned, but here's a start.

1987
1988
1989

There are 4 different back variations to the 1989 Donruss. I have 3 of them. I didn't scan the backs yet, but when I do, I will share them if anyone is interested. I also need to get the 2 Bowman Tiffanys, the Topps Traded Tiffany, and a higher graded Upper Deck (I have 2 8.5s)

Here's a sketch card that was done for me by Wounded Duck. The sketch is actually darker than it looks. It showed up a little light on my scanner.

I got a Adam Ottavino auto from bowman's best got it in a gb if any body wants it. It is FS/FT

I also got a Joey Devine topps chrome refractor rookie auto 204/205 for my Devine pc

My exciting news is my middle son (freshman who is still only 13, turning 14 in 10 days) scored his 1st varsity goal in today's soccer game. He's had several prior close calls, including one that was "taken-away" in the last game when the ref blew a call. (It's always the ref, right ). Even better, the team won it's 2nd game of the year!!
