I was looking at some of the lines for most homers in baseball this year and I thought some were pretty solid so I made a few $5 bets. Here's what I locked in:

Adam Dunn +1200 ($5 to win $60)
Adrian Gonzalez +1500 ($5 to win $75)
Albert Pujols +700 ($10 to win $70)

and my favorite of all...

Mike Stanton +4000 ($10 to win $400)

I like my chances of coming out ahead with these 4 horses in the race. Anyone else make a similar wager?

Someone should do a Home Run pool (not I :) ). Like 10-15 teams...everyone drafts like 10 players. Only homers count so it's easy to figure at years end. Can play for cards, $, anything.

I did one at work one year, it was fun. Actually had old Portuguese guys that only know soccer play. They learned a little about baseball and had some fun with it.

What would $5 on Alex Rodriguez bring in?

THIS!

I know Arod has been on a tear, but you really see him out doing Dunn in Chicago? I think Dunn is the safest pick. He's been the most consistent. Plus moving to the most HR friendly stadium has to help.

Also, what does everyone think the high will be? Over/Under 45?
