This does not count the Strasburg autos...just the chrome ones.

My picks:

Overrated: Starlin (once he gets more autos...his chrome are not going to ever reach those prices we saw earlier again)

Underrated: Tate (at $25 a pop for a base...it's a worthwhile time to pickup a few)

I would say Castro and Ackley are the overrated...

I agree with you on Tate, but what about Myers?

Sleeper: Nolan Arenado

That's exactly what I think. I also have Gose on my radar.

Overrated: Thomas Neal - Can't justify why prices of a near-23 year old in A ball are so high. Yeah, he had a big year last year, but $150 for Golds? $60+ for Blues? No way do those stay that high.

Underrated: Donavan Tate, Slade Heathcott - As you said, Tate is real cheap. Heathcott is the next Colby Rasmus, only in NY. That is easy money.

They will as long as Wossa keeps buying them all up.

No need to be a smart ass. It was an error.

Go make 12 posts about some eBay problems, wise one.

Anyone know when Tate is expected to play? I refuse to buy a kid who hasn't even played a game in the minors.

I've been buying Tates at an insane pace. I'm up to 20 chromes, 2 refractors, 2 blues and 2 golds. He's one of the few guys out there who has potential to become an elite hitter in the mold of a Stanton or Montero. Granted he's far away from reaching that level but at $20 a pop, I'll gladly take that chance. I agree with Nick Franklin as well. He could stand to cut down on the k's a bit but he's been showing a lot more pop than most people thought he would have.

I actually think Castro chromes are pretty fairly priced right now. They would be double this price had they come out before he made his major league debut and had time to build up some hype.

I'm going to say that Jose Iglesias' chrome autos are the most overrated. He's hitting well right now, but he's a glove first guy and I can see his offensive production falling off a bit and the excitement around him dying down.

Overrated- Tate really makes me nervous. Something about Padres prospects, I guess it's a great time to buy for people who believe in him, but the Padres are the Clippers of the MLB.

Underrated - Kirk Nieuwenhuis. Man, his stuff is dirt cheap. Great fielder with a decent bat for the Mets. Very low risk.

Underrated - I like Wil Myers at under $12 per chrome auto and as others have stated, Heatchott's chrome auto prices are pretty low for the potential return.

I guess I must be in the minority here when I say I don't care much for Tate. I am very hesitant on him until I see him hit in the MiLB and show some ability to consistently hit breaking and off-speed stuff.

Better than decent bat - he hit a double off of me his last year!

Neal chrome base autos are selling for under 10....how is that overrated.

I honestly think he's a good buy (not underrated cuz of the higher end parallels) but if he gets the call I couild see his chrome autos near the 30 clip
