Vlad has always been cheap and he would be great for a player collection, since no one can spell his name.

Haha thats true, I want to collect him, just because for 300$ I can get 6 Nice autos :)

with mclouth, 600 would get you the 2005 bowman super, and 25 nice autos ;)

other then this year, he hasnt put up amazing numbers but he's pretty good numbers before but luckly it hasn't shown in price

I think Kevin Youkilis cards are undervalued still. He has been top 5 in MVP voting the past few seasons, does everything well really. Great first baseman, hits for average, has power, good RBI number and he plays for the Red Sox. Hes off to a great start this year, .321, 10 HR, 29 RBI but youd be lucky to get $200 for a Gold refractor auto of him.

But what if he continues his attacks of nine eleven?

1) Vlad, future Hall of Famer and has had a pretty good career
2) Halladay, pitching in Toronto did him no favors and hopefully will get some more love now he is in Philly
3) Zimmerman, young talented 3B that has sold for a lot less than David Wright just because of his team

1: agree
2: agree
3: agree (If he were in NY he would be the biggest thing ever, lets hope he goes there, I have a jersey auto out of spectrum of him)

If Zimmerman ever went to NY and prices jumped, my collection would be VERY happy!!!

As a fan, don't care where he plays, but I'd have a hard time rooting for the Yankees even if he was there.

Also, as my screen name suggests, I do like Wright as well. I think right now, they are pretty even. I do think Zimmerman will pass him overall.

But card-wise, Zimmerman can stay low-key as long as possible. :D

162 Game Averages for Zimmerman and Wright:

G PA AB R H 2B 3B HR RBI SB CS BB SO BA OBP SLG OPS
Wright 162 701 608 104 186 42 3 27 108 23 6 80 127 .306 .388 .517 .905
Zimmerman 162 703 633 94 181 44 3 25 99 5 3 61 120 .286 .348 .484 .832

The core numbers are pretty comparable

(.306/27/108)
(.286/25/99)

I'm not sure you can say Wright is leaps and bounds better especially with the season each had last year. Zimmerman seems to be on the upswing(has stayed hot this year), while Wright is showing more power but less average.

Time will tell, but I think Zimmerman ends up being the better player in the long run if Wright continues to strike out at over a 30% clip like he has so far this season.

I feel like I see a lot of Carl Crawford autos for cheap... I'd think someone of his caliber would sell better. Maybe they will when he's in pinstripes?
