Before any of that, I blame the mother for being such a idiot. She is pussifying her kid by teaching him that he's never wrong-- it's always someone else's fault.

What's next, her kid shoots someone, but it's Smith & Wesson's fault, because they make guns? What a joke.

I'm on the BOD of my Little League, and I do know that every LL has insurance through the central Little League of America, so this was likely AIG/CNA taking the hit.

I was just going to post this...I know when I played many years ago part of the fee that was paid for me to play went to the insurance. I also know my dad was the president of the little league where we played and he did have to pay the hefty premiums to cover all the players from the fees that were collected.

I chalk this one up right along with the hot McDonalds coffee....greed of people and moronic juries!! I guess we all need to start walking around in bubble wrap suits to avoid any risk or injury!!

Some random thoughts...

The family is responsible for their health care and insurance, not the league.

I hate to see any child get injured, but suing at the drop of a hat in search of a “jackpot” is not the way to teach your child.

Personal responsibility seems to have fallen out of favor with a certain segment of society.

Issues like this won’t be a concern after our health care system is nationalized. The child will get his health care for free…within two to three years.
