Willie Davis Spokane Indians Darigold (no tab). I think this is 1960, but might be 1959. Very early Davis issue, maybe the best player in the set.

Jang, another of the new Bowman prospect cards I tried to nab cheaply, just in case. I may give this type of chase up at some point. Many of these guys never even make the team.

Forgot this ticket stub. i'd prefer the year was visible, but easy enough to verify with the schedules.

This is the only game during his career that Garvey played second base at the MLB level. Not the typical "event" stub most people chase, but I went through and made a list of any weird event and have not been overly successful finding them, but then again I am not really looking very hard either. Buying stubs has gotten much harder because everyone knows what happened in the games. Used to be you could find great milestones that people had no clue happened. Not so much any more. This one was advertised as his only game at 3B, close but that isn't true. Probably just a typo by the seller.

Garvey /15. The lack of logos/team names tarnishes this card a bit in my eyes, but still pretty decent.

A small complaint that will probably be seen by very few. I am not trying to spread the word per se, but don't mind sharing the story either.

"Autograph Den" on ebay is a high volume seller of signed cards., photos, etc I have won a fair number of items from them over the course of at least a year or more and perhaps even several years now. Their best feature was having low opening bids (often a penny a card) and combined shipping, although there is no cap. $0.25 per card after the first one, so if you win 101 cards, you pay $25 shipping for the last 100.

Apparently though, expecting them to get your orders straight and shipping the correct cards is an inconvenience to them. Whoever runs the messages for that account is a smart ass. I was threatened a couple times that I would be blocked because of my "incessant complaining". My complaints you ask? Getting the correct cards shipped to me AND having ALL of the cards I paid for included with my order. Numerous times cards were missing or wrong. This was almost a problem with every single order I made with them. Not once did they actually fix an order problem, rather they resorting to refunds. They didn't have time to sort out such trivial things like getting the card I bought back when they sent it to the wrong buyer. Of course, these were cheap cards to be transparent, mostly a buck or less. Still, the attitude that we'll F up your order and threaten to block you when you complain about it is ridiculous!

If anyone knows who the owner is of this ebay shop is, I'd love to know. I would love to NOT do business with them outside of ebay by mistake. They didn't respond to that question when I asked and told them to block me after they screwed up my "final" order.

However turns out even despite my bold, pushy reply, they didn't block me even after a direct request that they do so and I ended up seeing one last card I wanted. Shame on me for continuing to give them my money, but it's one card and this will be it. I will no longer spend hours searching their listings of 1000s of signed cards. I won't win 100s of cards at a time anymore or bid up 100s more other items that I don't win but help them make more money through higher prices realized. I am admittedly a small fry customer, but through volume and longevity I have probably spend at least 4 figures with them. Their non-existent customer service has lost them a customer and according to them, apparently they could give a $hit about it anyways.

Thanks for indulging me if you made it this far and if I helped drive just one more customer from buying cards from them on ebay, I feel satisfied!

Here is the last card I got from these clowns.

Yikes! I've only bought less than a handful of cards from them (unsigned minor league ones that I needed) but never more than one at a time. "Customer service" like that should not exist in any industry!
