I haven't seen the Memorial Mall on a MSA Carousel back before, and I've catalogued more than 40 variations. Could you share a picture of the back of one of them?
Sure, no Dodger mail so a chance to post here after all. I am not sure how many garvey I have now, but this was a new one for me. I still wonder about some of these, as the stamp is not unique enough to be free from counterfeiting. i guess it would be hard to verify a location and store number, so as long as someone wasn't repeating a known stand, a fake might be pretty easy. Let me know what you think.

The Pirates in the lot, 3 of 5 had staining. Medich and 1 Candeleria were free of noticeable defects.

Downing timeless teams to go with the other non-Dodgers I got today. s-l1600-2.jpg

Pretty happy about this one. 16" x 20" Garvey auto from the 77 World Series, where he was "tagged out" by Munson. Bad call, too bad we didn't have instant reply then!

Stupid me! I saw this while on vacation. I think I was drifting off to sleep and thought it was some sort of update set certified auto. I offered on it and was accepted, but turns out its just a TTM/IP card, which I hope is real.

First Dodger score of Nov is a good one. Reese Front Rowe certified set. The certificates are weird for these sets. Its one of 2000 sets, but autograph set 31 of 100. Does that mean there are 1900 unsigned sets and 100 signed sets? Who knows, but a great way to get a certified Reese, who died in 1999.s-l1600.jpg

I have only seen the one shown signed. I assume he signed the same card for all of the sets, but I could be wrong.

A couple 8x10 Team issues I had never seen before. Both are autographed, which I love, but I would like unsigned copies to go with the rest of my collection too.

After that No-No, I guess I really would like to see the Astros win and get that ring for Baker! Had the Garvey, of course, but can't resist.

I took a big gamble on this. Maddux just has a slop autograph that is very hard to predict. I would think (and hope) someone wouldn't ruin a rare card like a Canon with a fake. Personalized to boot. The ball was essentially a toss in at the price. I think someone had these signed at an appearance back when the cards were new and hope I am right! Maddux Canon.jpgMaddux Ball.jpg

A decent Dodger haul today.

Garvey Archives /11. Pretty sure this is my 3rd copy of this card. Interest has cooled way off for this issue, thankfully. Garvey 11.jpg

Johnstone, a rare certified card of a journeyman type player, so quite cool. I had it already, but can't pass up a good dodger deal. I always think it really doesn't look like him every time I see this card. I wonder if that is someone else or just a very early shot that was altered to look like he was with LA, as he came to LA in 1980.Johnstone.jpg

Loney. s-l1600.jpg

Durocher with the Babe and Burleigh Grimes. Ruth will probably always remain one of the top "Dodger" autographs I will likely never own.Durocher.jpg

Last one is current pitching coach, Mark Prior. This is a design I like and this card is /5. Prior 5.jpg

I do need to lay off this guy, but like the design and went for one more. I wonder if the guy will play again? Not looking for a debate or comments on him, just an inner thought put into words...Trevor Bauer /50

This card exemplifies the crisp look of the 1961 Topps set (or retro designs). I can't get enough of these, signed! Furcal /39. Furcal 39.jpg

Scherzer. Hope he gets a few Dodger auto cards for his time last year (7-0!) and they are affordable! Scherzer.jpg

What is that Scherzer card?
Its from a Topps 582 Motgomery club set. Never really looked into it, just knew they were some sort of exclusive set issued direct from Topps, so I looked it up...
