that is indeed very scary at that age... hopefully he can recover rapidly and make some adjustments.
That is what is somewhat concerning about it.
His health has been improving over the last year.

Joe is doing much better today. Blood pressure, heart rate, everything is good. The doctor said he can go home today, probably around 4-5 pm. He's up walking around right now. His nurse is walking him around the ICU and he's got a big smile on his face. This has been hell, but it was caught soon enough that he's still with us and that he can make the necessary changes to still lead a long, healthy life. Thank you all for the thoughts, prayers, and well wishes. It really means a lot to both of us.
