Been really busy at work. It looks like Thursday are going to be the days I post this for the next couple of weeks.
Previous weeks ranking in parentheses.
1. (3) San Francisco 49ers - The 49ers look good. They need to convert better on third down, even though they got it done at the end of the game.
2. (2) Atlanta Falcons - If the defense can catch up to the offense, they will be almost unbeatable.
3. (5) Houston Texans - Foster and Tate are the best 1-2 RB combo in the NFL.
4. (12) Philadelphia Eagles - Despite the turnovers, Vick was able to lead them to a big win over Baltimore.
5. (13) San Diego Chargers - They put a beating on Tennessee. Mathews may be back soon and they will only get better.
6. (6) Green Bay Packers - Rodgers still doesn’t look like he did last year, but Cedric Benson is helping him out.
7. (4) Baltimore Ravens - Tough loss to the Eagles. Ray Rice only had 22 touches. They need to give him the ball more.
8. (14) Pittsburgh Steelers - They looked like themselves against the Jets. They are a tough team, as always.
9. (1) New England Patriots - Shocking loss to Arizona. They’re better than that.
10. (18) Arizona Cardinals - Surprisingly, they are 2-0 with a big upset win at New England last week.
11. (10) Denver Broncos - Were it not for 1 bad quarter, Peyton Manning might have them at 2-0.
12. (11) Detroit Lions - The defense just needed to make a couple of stops and they could have won.
13. (9) Chicago Bears - Tough loss to the Packers. Jay Cutler came back down to Earth.
14. (8) Dallas Cowboys - Big win Week 1, big loss Week 2. They need consistency.
15. (16) New York Giants - Their defense needs to get it together. They are much better than they are playing.
16. (17) Cincinnati Bengals - They did beat the Browns, but their defense looks very suspect.
17. (15) New York Jets - They should have saved some offense for Week 2.
18. (22) Seattle Seahawks - Their special teams came up big in the win against Dallas. Defense didn’t look bad either.
19. (21) Buffalo Bills - They were almost as good Week 2 as they were bad Week 1.
20. (25) Carolina Panthers - Newton played very well against the Saints, just like RGIII did the previous week.
21. (19) Washington Redskins - Losing Brian Orakpo for the season will hurt, but can RGIII do enough on offense to overcome that?
22. (7) New Orleans Saints - What happened to the Saints? If their defense doesn’t step up, it’s going to be a tough season for them.
23. (20) Tampa Bay Buccaneers - They played very well on the road. They may be better than expected.
24. (29) Indianapolis Colts - Andrew Luck will definitely lead this team to more than the 2 wins they had last season.
25. (28) St. Louis Rams - They’ve played well both weeks and could be 2-0. They’ll win some of the close ones if they can continue to stay in games.
26. (31) Miami Dolphins - Reggie Bush went off. If he continues to play like that, they will be better than expected.
27. (26) Minnesota Vikings - They kept it close against the Colts and came back strong late.
28. (23) Oakland Raiders - They got smoked by Miami. The offense looked bad.
29. (24) Kansas City Chiefs - 0-2 is not where they were expected to be. There is potential there, it’s just not showing up.
30. (27) Tennessee Titans - Wow. They keep getting blown out. If the D doesn’t improve, it’s going to be a long season.
31. (30) Jacksonville Jaguars - They looked really bad last week. They may take over the last spot soon.
32. (32) Cleveland Browns - They played well again, but ended up on the short end of the scoreboard.
