These are both auto'ed on the top part of the "5". Technically, these and the bats aren't IP as Cole sent them directly from Philly to me.

Looking at about $200 each... not yet. We're sort of waiting for my 2 year old to get a little bigger to turn our upstairs playroom into a man room for the three of us, including framing those two jerseys, a nice frame for a bat or two and a Cole fathead.

Jimmy Rollins and Shane Victorino are on the provisional Team USA roster.

Other Phillies on provisional rosters are Matt Stairs (Canada), Carlos Ruiz (Panama), and J.C. Romero (Puerto Rico) despite his 50 game suspension by Major League Baseball. Sanctions from MLB have no affect on the WBC.

The Phillies farm system is filling some roster spots as well. Carlos Carrasco highlights the young players from the Phillies. Carrasco will have a chance to showcase his abilities for Venezuela. Mike Bolsenbroek will represent the Kingdom of the Netherlands. Brad Harman, Joel Naughton, and Drew Naylor will represent Australia. Ronny Paulino will hope to play for the loaded Dominican Republic. Mike Spidale will represent underdog Italy.

Jeff, Jim, you guys might know better than I....and not that it really matters from a baseball perspective but I've always heard that personally, Hamels is a real jerk. My in-laws live in S.D. very close to Rancho Bernardo where he went to H.S. and they've said that NO ONE likes him around there because his ego is so huge.

I'm just curious to see if you guys have heard the same or not? I don't know that the rumors are true at all but found it interesting.

I spent a decent amount of time watching him in Clearwater. . . Mike Marinaro and I would stalk him depending on where he was playing (stalk as in go to the games and watch, not literally stalk). I spoke with the people he lived with in Clearwater, I spoke with him, my wife outed my mancrush to him and he was cool with it (and this is when he was in Clearwater, hence the picture - he's the only athlete I have a picture with -- and I have about 30 of my son with other Phillies/Threshers).

My point? He didn't come off as a jerk at all. A very softspoken, humble, guy. I worked out a trade with his sister in law so that I could get the jerseys and bats pictured above, and all went well.
