...yep, you heard me right. Going to be a shock to most people here are the numbers.... all stats from MLB.com, I'm not a big collector of either of these guys but Pujols got robbed.

Hits: Pujols 186, RyHo 172
Total Bases: Pujols 374, RyHo 352

Triples: Pujols 1, RyHo 4
Homeruns: Pujols 47, RyHo 45
RBI: Pujols 135, RyHo 141
BB:Pujols 115, RyHo 75
IBB: Pujols 44, RyHo 8
Strikeouts: Pujols 64, RyHo 186
SB: Pujols 16, RyHo 8
AVG: Pujols .327, RyHo .279
OBP: Pujols .443, RyHo .360
SLG: Pujols .658, RyHo .571

Howard is obviously going to have a RBI advantage because of the great players in front of him. Howard a great player but c'mon...

What are you talking about? They vote on the Regular season awards before the Playoffs even begin. Howard won the MVP for the NLCS. He could win the World Series MVP too, who knows? But Pujols will win the MVP for the regular season.

I've never really understood giving MVP's of single postseason series. Maybe after the WS give a playoff MVP for each league? Idk, maybe im in the minority. It's not a big deal but maybe others agree or disagree?

yo genius, the MVP award is voted on BEFORE the playoffs begin. As a sports fan you should already know that.
