thanks guys. my goal was the best RC of each starter (got that with aug/head/brown, powell only has that card, and i'm not dropping a few bills on williams' exquisite so i went second best) and then the auto of the 4 in their illini unis. this only tok me 3-4 weeks to complete, and i overpaid on a few but hey, i wanted it done quickly

I would highly suggest you purchase the leatherbound book featuring autos of Powell, Deron, Luther, Nick Smith, Coach Weber, and a few others I cant think of right now. Could usually be found for around $30-$40 DLVD.

I hung out and talked with nearly every player from that team back in 2005. All of them were very approachable and extremely down to earth. For some reason the biggest goof on the entire team always had a bit of an elitest attitude towards everyone else. How Nick Smith thought he was better than everyone, still blows my mind to this day. Luther Head had to be the best dude on that team, followed closely by Dee. I have see, talked, and hung out with Dee a few times since then. Always a plesant experience and defenitally a top notch dude. I have no clue why no team will give him a legit shot at an NBA role. He would be an excellent backup PG and a great change of pace guard.
