Some of those would straight piss me off. Alex Cobb as a replacement for a Joc Pederson? Wade Miley for Baez? Not thinking you got anywhere close to dollar for dollar. Just my .02 and is be contacting the rep.

I don't get why the f they even pretend you're gonna get what the redemption says. Topps' redemptions have stopped me from purchasing some of their products, those replacements are laughable

FWIW, those are not redemptions. They are the replacement cards for the damaged Tribute autos earlier this year. But, you points still hold.

I was on the phone with them a few times before they sent me. I received the list and I told them I was not happy with the value they put on the cards.

Remy said they wont give more than they valued the card so I said what about the equal "or more" value?

Im going to list them on ebay and see what I get and send her back the totals!

I didn't calculate , but how off do you feel you are? I'm surprised they sent some /5, /15 etc. I would of thought some of those would of had more time to be redeemed. I'm not the biggest fan of new Clark stuff , but let me know what you'd need on the Bat/Auto

I'd take the replacement haul over the original Tribute autos. Much of the "value" of the Tribute autos is in the prospect/RC stuff, and I'd say everything but the Pederson would sell for far less than the assigned value (especially the Rusney Castillo!). I do see a few questionable replacements (the Joe Kelly!), but overall not bad. The Will Clark is an awesome piece, far more desirable and significantly more valuable than the Norris plus any half-dozen of the Tributes put together. Rice /5 is damn fine, and even the Miley is a cool patch /5, which still has value even though he sucks dirty buttholes (oh, and the Baez that was swapped for the Miley has recently sold for $18, $7.50, and $9.50).

EDIT: The Norris just recently sold for $5.50 and $5.59. Not a bad swap for the Clark.

Too bad Topps didn't make their Tribute recall good, say reprint the Tribute cards and get proper autos on them so you are getting an exact replacement.

And then everyone would be complaining that it took too long to get their replacements back. Getting exact replacements would be nice, but the nightmare is lessened by Topps doing it this way. And in no way am I defending Topps on their screw up.

They could have credited everyone $1000 a case and said keep the cards. Since the product is about Autos

People who didn't open got full credit for their boxes, but open up early on release day and you're the one getting screwed twice. Once by the player selection and then they replace them with (cough) equal or greater value
