George Kell was from Swifton, Arkansas. He wrote me nice a note in 2006 about his property out there and his time with the Baltimore Orioles. He also went to Arkansas State in Jonesboro. All funds from his TTM donations went to the Swifton Baptist Church where he attended. Interestingly, both George Kell and his protege Brooks Robinson are from Arkansas.
