First off I never draft a QB in the first round and maybe all the way to 3 rounds unless other draft QB's and take some of my top choices. I go RB RB WR WR

and Blackmon is out until like week 5 or 6 due to a suspension by the league. no need to drop him but your really weak in RB and even WR

How many teams in this league. You should be able to upgrade if there is not more then 10 teams for there are 12 to 14 then you maybe toast :lol:

The only RB taken in the first round was Peterson, so I figured I'd go with the trend of getting a QB before the good ones were gone.

Thats insane that only one RB was taken in the first round of a 14 team league. Is the league heavy on qb points? I did my 14 team league last night and the first 10 picks were all rb's but we use a traditional scoring system.

No offense but if you were going with the trend, why is Luck your # 1 QB? I like the guy and all but fantasy wise he is a filler on a bye week IMHO. Where did you draft in this? (1-14?). But as another member stated, if you're heavy on QB points.....

It's gotta be like 10 points per yard passing to pick 13 QBs in first round.

The entire first round was QB, except for Peterson (#2), and Greg Olson (#9).

Newton, Rodgers, and Brees were all gone by the time I got to draft.

Either QB points are massive, or you are in a league where 13 people don't know anything about fantasy football.

Hasn't it been Draft RB First since like 2006?

Ever since most teams have been going with two running back sets, rb points are also getting split, which is why you need to grab a rb who gets the majority of the carries. If you can't, a qb could be advisable but that's only if the major rb players are off the board, which the weren't. And grabbing a tight end in the first round,what? You must have Greg Olsen playing in your league...

P. Manning went undrafted, so I'm working on picking him up. Then I'll probably drop Flacco and move Manning to my starting position.

I thought about RGIII, but he gets injured a lot.

The league is just for fun. The guy who drafted Olson is a huge Panthers fan.
