Hello everyone,

I am a huge Eric Lindros memorabilia and autograph collector. Instead of showing all 280+ cards in my collection here are a few of my favorites. Everything else can be seen here. Fair warning, my collection is mostly pre-lockout cards and In the Game cards

1997-98 Be A Player Prismatic Autograph

1997-98-Be-A-Player-Prismatic.jpg

To me this is the Ultimate Lindros Autograph card. Sure the ReCollection autos are generating a ton of buzz right now, but this was the first ultra difficult, ultra limited Lindros autograph made. Unfortunately with Pinnacle forever gone no one will ever know how many of these were made but I believe it to be far less than the 100 stated copies. The regular set autograph was never made, and the Foil Die Cut autograph is just as difficult to find.

1997-98 Leaf Lindros Collection Away Jersey

1997-98-Leaf-Lindros-Collection-2.jpg

This card comes from the first ever patch, stick, and sock hockey cards. This was a truly ground breaking set in the hobby. These cards still regularly sell for over $100. How many memorabilia cards made can you still say that about today, especially those will 100 copies floating around?

1998-99 Be A Player Stick

1998-99-BAP-AS-Stick.jpg

My first ever game used card. This card single-handedly changed what I collected as soon as I held it in my hand. After this I stopped chasing cards like the 1996-97 Black Diamond Run for the Cup and Mirror Golds and focused on Lindros game used and autographed cards.

1999-00 BAP Millennium Number

1999-00-BAP-Millennium-Number.jpg

My favorite card from one of my favorite sets. I wish more cards made today would identify where the patch from (Emblem, Number, Nameplate).

1999-00 Upper Deck Patch

1999-00-Upper-Deck-Patch.jpg

This another one of the incredibly rare cards from a decade ago. This one comes from the first Upper Deck patch set. This is the only copy of this card I have ever seen.

2000-01 SP Game Used Jersey

2000-01-SP-Game-Used-Jersey.jpg

This is likely the closest I will ever come to finding a multi-color Flyers jersey card from Upper Deck. The black thread is a part of the swatch and glued to the card so for me it counts!

2001-02 BAP Memorabilia Country of Origin

2001-02-BAP-Memorabilia-Country-of-Origin.jpg

This card might be my favorite card in my entire collection. The patches come from the Country Flags used on the North American vs. the World All-Star jerseys. This was just one of the amazing cards created for 2001-02 BAP Memorabilia, another one of my all time favorite sets.

2001-02 BAP Ultimate Memorabilia Dynamic Duos

2001-02-BAP-Ult-Mem-Duo.jpg

This was the first multi-player card with all multi-color swatches. This is one pairing that I wish would have been used more. I have always liked the way Kovalchuk played. His explosive game really stood out in the pre-lockout defensive game and this was actually my most wanted card when the UM2 checklist came out.

2001-02 Vanguard Dual Jersey with Yzerman

2001-02-Vanguard-Double-Jersey-38.jpg

This is a card I never thought I would find with a two color swatch. This is the only copy of this card I have seen with a multi-color swatch.

2002-03 BAP All-Star Edition He Shoots He Scores

2002-03-BAP-All-Star-HSHS.jpg

This was my first He Shoots He Scores Prize card. After this one arrived in hand I made He Shoots He Scores cards a priority for my collection. I have been able to find a few more but there are still several out there that I would love to track down one day.

2002-03 BAP Ultimate Memorabilia Journey Emblem

2002-03-BAP-Ult-Mem-Journey-Emblem.jpg

This was my most wanted card from UM3. I had been waiting for Lindros to be included in the Journey set from the moment the trade to the Rangers was announced. I love the concept having memorabilia pieces from each team Lindros plated for together on one card. Plus these swatches are pretty good, as far as Rangers and Flyers emblems go at least.

2002-03 BAP Ultimate Memorabilia Playoff Scorers

2002-03-BAP-Ult-Mem-Playoff.jpg

This one is the only three color Flyers jersey card in my collection. This piece comes from the arm/shoulder piping on the jerseys. You simply do not see too many cards like this made.

2003-04 SP Game Used Jersey Gold

2003-04-SPGU-Jersey-Gold.jpg

This was my first autographed memorabilia in my collection so it will always be one of my favorites. This was another collection changer for me. Sure there are others out there, 1998-99 Be A Player and BAP Millennium have them but this was the first time I had ever held one in my hand. It was pretty cool to have the two things I enjoyed most about collecting together on one card.

2003-04 BAP Ultimate Memorabilia Emblem Autograph

2003-04-BAP-Ult-Mem-Auto-Emblem.jpg

This is a card that I never thought I would own. I had not seen one of these since shortly after release when I acquired it last year. With some many people attempting the set I figured I had lost this one forever.

2005-06 ITG Ultimate Memorabilia Seams Unbelievable

2005-06-ITG-Ult-Mem-Seams.jpg

This was another set that I wish Lindros had been included in sooner. I really like how ITG pays attention to the details and tries to offer collectors something that stands out from a standard jersey or patch card.

2007-08 Artifacts Tundra Trios Patch

2007-08-Artifacts-Trios-Patch.jpg

This was my first card in my collection with a piece of Dallas Stars jersey. I was very excited when my favorite player was signed by my favorite team so this card will always be special to me. This is also the nicest patch in my collection and comes from the 2007 NHL All-Star game logo.

2009-10 Superlative Famous Lines

2009-10-Superlative-Line.jpg

I know a lot of collectors do not like the Famous Fabrics cards because there are no pictures but I love them. There is no other way to get three pieces of memorabilia that size on a card. This was my most wanted card from Superlative.

Well that is all for now, feel free to check out my web site for more cards. There is a gallery section and each card is linked to a description page with a large front and back image and details about the card.

Thanks for the look!

Sweet collection, congrats!!! :D Have a look in my traders,
I think I have a Lindros you don't have in your map...

I took a look through your bucket and I have a copy of the Beehive already and the Trilogy is not one I am after. About a year ago I refocused my collection away from post lockout Upper Deck cards. The only ones I kept were a 2005-06 Upper Deck Patch from the 1999 All-Star Game in Tampa and a handful of cards with Dallas Stars jersey pieces. Thanks for the offer anyway!

I myself am a Lindros Collector.
It's funny because my collection is basically all pre-1997, and yours is basically all post-1997!
Combined, I'm sure we would have the ultimate Lindros Collection around!

Very nice collection, I was and will always be a fan of Lindros. My prized piece is a signed NYR Lindros game worn helmet. One day I hope to get a Flyers game worn jersey.

Here's to him making the HHOF. Neely is in, Lindros most certainly deserves to be too.

Nice stuff. This hockey board is becoming slowly stuffed with major player collectors. We've got Lindros, Lehtonen, Fleury, Carter, Kopitar, etc. Maybe one day we will have enough to a do a player collector contest like they did on the baseball side. Everyone keep it up. :)

Nice collection.

Now you just have to add the Lindros buyback from this years Score to top it off.

Yeah, I don't think that is going to happen. Someone in Chicago is attempting to buy all of them, literally all 50 copies. And lets be honest, I have about a million other things I could drop $1,500 right now.
