I was just curious to know how many of you have kept your first ever one of one card. I happened to come across mine at a rummage sale for $1 or $2. I can't remember. I wasn't particularly a fan of Garrett Anderson (didn't dislike him either, just neutral), but I remember thinking that it was so cool to find a one of one card. I had no idea what kind of parallel this card even was until last year, and I have flirted with the idea of selling it since the day I bought it. However, I think the sentimental value of my first one of one card has kept me from pulling the trigger. Just curious to know if you guys have your first one of ones. Scans are welcome.

Cool thread idea. I do still have mine. I was trying to get my wife to catch the card bug a few years ago, and succeeded with Artifacts blasters. I had just bored her early that very morning with the grand and glorious explanation of what a 1/1 is. I didn't have one to show her so it didn't matter.

Flash forward to opening our blaster. We split the packs. Her very first one, she tells me "Oh I got a 1/1." I just told her it was not a funny way to tease a collector. She insisted that she had one and I gave in. Sure enough, she did. Being Cubs fans, it was the hit of our lifetime.

My first 1/1 was a 1997 Fleer Flair Masterpieces Marquis Grissom. Sold it that year for $300 at the Tristar show in SF.

The first one I ever was a plate of the white sox team leaders in 2010 topps. I ended up trading it away.

I have all of my one of ones. Oddly enough, all but two have been of players I collect so I wouldn't get rid of them anyways.

Sold for 700 bones. Regretted it slightly until we found out that he eats roids. Now I don't care :)

Oh wow, that's amazing. I've never seen that before. Still, $700 would be nice... But wow a full patch..

My LCS at the time came across my first and so far only 1/1. Gave me a call saying it just came in. It was cool that I was his first call, but then again, not many Bagwell collectors in the Spokane area at the time. I'm just glad he didnt instantly put it on ebay. Took birthday money and a little extra from the wife, but I scored it.

I pulled a 1/1 Willie McCovey printing plate auto from 2012 Topps Tribute. I hung on to it for a month or two but finally got offered enough money to sell it. I uploaded that box break on YouTube. It was my most watched video ever. I think it was at over 12,000 views last time I looked.
