You know what else you can add to Aaron?
Most career RBI's.

I don't know why it's so often ignored or unknown. It seems like a real thing to me, but you never hear anyone mention it.

Top 10 Career RBI's:
1 Hank Aaron 2,297
2 Babe Ruth 2,213
3 Barry Bonds 1,996
4 Lou Gehrig 1,995
5 Stan Musial 1,951
6 Ty Cobb 1,937
7 Jimmie Foxx 1,922
8 Eddie Murray 1,917
9 Willie Mays 1,903
10Cap Anson 1,879

That's great to know that Bonds didn't rob him of everything ;)

I think your custom looks a lot better than the two originals. Just wish there were some other cards to use that weren't so low numbered.
I kind of agree. But at the same time, if you bought these for PC, then they would be yours and all we'd see is a scan if anything, so why not make them into something you like more?

Great job on the custom.

I do try and pick the cheapest...it obviously wouldn't make sense to buy expensive cards to tear up (Grin)...as far as buying a SI musial for $50, that wouldn't give me a patch or GU... for only $20 more ($70) I got 3 GU, this was much more bang for the buck ;)

I forgot there is one more i want, and it won't be GU....I want an ozzie doing a flip...that is TBA too.

My favorite custom is the Multi game used with Ruth, Pujols, Gehrig and Ted Williams. I like Customs like that were you take multiple cards of multiple players and make one "master card", so to speak.

Did you really sell the Ted Williams cut custom for $1100?? On ebay??

Just curious why you bothered to make a Bonds card then?

I love the UD Heroes set, so I'm not sure about tearing that card up. My bigger concern, though, is with the text for the card back.

Stan Musial was awarded the "Lou Gehrig Memorial Award" to honor him.
It is given to players who best exemplify their character and integrity both on and off the field.

Stan Musial was awarded the Sports Illustrated "Sportsman of the Year"
award for the athlete whose performance that year most embodies
the spirit of sportsmanship and achievement."

Personally, I think that's quite awkward, and the second blurb includes a stray quote mark at the end.

Additionally, do you even know who awards the Lou Gehrig Award? I just looked it up, and I'm not really sure how prestigious it is. I mean, can you (or anyone else) name another winner?

I'd probably delete the whole thing about the Lou Gehrig Award, as I'm not sure it actually means much. I'd probably replace it with a blurb about his outstanding season stats.

I'd also rewrite the second blub like this: Sports Illustrated named Stan the 1957 Sportsman of the Year for embodying the spirit of sportsmanship and achievement. Stan was the fourth athlete honored by Sports Illustrated and was later joined by a long list of distinguished athletes including X, Y and Z.

Regardless of what you do, I hope you enjoy the card and your collection...

I have canseco, mcgwire, palmeiro, pete rose and others as well...they are a part of baseball history....despite my personal views of one's characters.
Personally I feel I am a lot more forgiving than most, but then again, I was (past tense) a druggee and high school dropout ;) :D

I wanted the Lou Gehrig Award, because I think it speaks to his character, which is a LOT of why Musial is Musial....as far as extra quotes, it will be edited.
