Sorry I haven't responded sooner. Thank you to everyone for the congrats and kind comments. It's been a fun and interesting week with the little boy at home. He's such a blessing already and I'm excited to relive my boyhood and more importantly experience his boyhood.

As for his first rip? 20 cases of BC will be first. I'm hoping he's in sorting shape by BDP...Lord knows I'll need help with the 40 cases I have coming.

I've included a few pics from the first two days.

Congrats! I've got one four year old son and every day is a blast. You'll thoroughly enjoy it I'm sure.

And welcome your wife to the 10+ lb baby club! My son was 21" and 10 lb 13 oz.

Congrats.....It will change your life!!!

We have 2 girls already, but I'm sure having a boy will present it's own dynamic changes.

When our son was born the biggest difference we noticed compared to his older sister was how active (and destructive) he was! Friends with baby boys just said, "Yep, that's a boy for ya!" You can bet the first he gets into will be daddy's cards! :D

Congrats!

Whoa! 10lb 13oz? Wow. My wife has been getting 'mad respect' from everyone for delivering a 10lb 5.4oz baby without the need of a c-section. It's kinda funny to see people react to that.

One more pic with Paxton's big sisters. They really wanted a baby brother. When asked "do you want a baby sister?", my oldest daughter Kyra would tell you "we already have one of those, I want a brother".

I agree. The looks people give are rather humorous. My wife was about 2 minutes from having to go to a c-section since his shoulder was getting hung up inside. He finally gave though and all was good.

In any event, congrats again and have fun! My son seems to be divided between the Red Sox and Phillies. He was born into a Red Sox family and his first major league level first game was the Nats/Phillies here in Washington. He likes to pick a few of my cards for his own 200 count box he started and he only ever looks for the Red Sox and Phillies players. Although, he did pick a Pirate the other day. I mean c'mon, what four year old doesn't think a pirate is cool?

Edit to add: Another great pic!
