My newest addition to the PC. A 1981 WTF Card Co. Rochester Red Wings Cal Ripken Jr. #1 graded an SGC 88 (8). 1800 sets were made by a college student to pay for his tuition. It cost him 79 cents to make each set and he and the Red Wings sold them for $3.95/set. It cost me a little more than that so enjoy.

That's a great card. Great story behind it. I love the early 80's TCMA cards also.

The early one or two-color minor league sets are great, and that Ripken is amazing. Talk about a tough find, I can't fathom how many of those sets still look like that condition-wise.

Luker, I believe we traded USA cards way back in 02 and 03. I would love to get my hands on that Sandberg in your sig. Do I have any shot at all?

Hey, yeah i think we traded back on the SCF a while back. Unfortunately though, regarding the Sandberg, I hope to be buried with this card. It was my white whale. And fortunately, when a reasonable BIN popped up on ebay my wife was in a great mood
