Nice start. 1962 was always one of my favorites. I guess Mantle is probably the most expensive one to get?

it appears so. depending on my budget at the time, ill probably try to pick up a reasonably priced one at the natty. Ive just had a good time picking up a bunch of commons because it makes me feel like im getting somewhere.

Looks like an good start. Awesome looking Ernie Banks! I just recently started a similar PSA project, only I am doing 70-79 Topps Blackhawks Hockey.

Awesome stuff so far good luck on your set.

Dumb question: Are you buying them graded or mailing them off to PSA or both?

Hey Mox, nice start. What are you paying on the commons on avg? I started a 70 topps set in PSA 9. I have about 20-30 cards but had to put the buying on hold.

I should have a perry rookie in a PSA 7 as well and I think I have a Walter Alston in a PSA 8. Any special reason you picked the 62 set? Birth year?

not bad so far. there have been a few commons (non high numbers) that have gone for quite a bit. must be a low pop card. wish i could get a pop report for this set. i might have to break down and join psa.
