The 90-94 Conlon Collection cards have a lot of the pre war guys names in it.. the majority are nicknames though I go more for the players who were given these names directly by their parents.

Love that someone has actually started what sooooo many of us have thought about. I'd like to nominate Doug Fister. Every single year when he was drafted in my fantasy league someone would say "Fister!? I hardly know her!!"

Ah, Doug Fister.... aka "Big Douggie Painful" that's a name I haven't heard of in a while. I'm guessing you continued to draft him in his decline just to repeat the joke?

Find it hard to believe there was a professional athlete in the 21st century named Ben Gay, but there it is. Only played one season but got in all 16 games.

Shocked you don't have this one.

But even more shocking than that is that this card has recently sold for up to $10 and the cheapest one on ebay currently is $15. With the new status of weed I guess things like that will happen. There are even some copies signed by Puffer. Assuming he's back in Korea, a Bong auto would be a tough pull at this point.

I have a small stash of Mike Stoner cards, myself. Stadium Club One of a Kind, chromes, things like that, but nothing super rare like on your wantlist. And I always wondered what happened to that guy. Look at his stats, he was destroying every league and getting better the higher up he went. But he never made the majors. Injury? Headcase? A quick google reveals nothing.
