At least the rainbow is still just as shiny and colorful. Based on his offensive numbers, I'm shocked he hasn't been relegated to in the independents.

What's his problem at the plate? Does he just have a really bad habit of hitting it where they are? His K's aren't as horrendous as I would expect for someone with that low a batting average, so he apparently makes a lot of contact.

And they didn't upgrade much by picking up Ryan Lavarnway from the Sox to (I assume) replace him. Now they have a lousy back-up catcher with a line of .201/.249/.315 instead of a lousy back-up catcher with a line of .183/.239/.268.
