Love it!!!! Can't wait for topps 2013 there going to be all kinds of auto/relics in them like Cal Ripken Jr and Ken Griffy Jr.

In regards to the question about Cal's other "grail" cards, this card is at the top of the list. It is Cal's greatest card. There has been some discussion about this card on FCB. To summarize my thoughts about the greatness of this card, you have a better chance of finding a T206 Wagner up for sale than you do the 1980 Charlotte O's Police Ripken. It is a perfect storm for a low print run:
1. The card is a super flimsy stock. When you hold it up to light you can easily see the image from the other side.
2. The cards were never collated in set form. To assemble the set you had to do some work because of the way the cards were distributed.
3. Officers distributed the cards one or two at a time to kids in 1980.
In regards to the scarcity, players I have corresponded with who had a card in the set were not aware of it until 20 years after the fact.

I wish the cops gave out cards when I was younger. It would have made my many interactions with them a bit more enjoyable.
