I'm officially all caught up on my Rangers autographs. I will continue to post updates when I receive new autographs or upgrades from previous autographs. Those updates will be a lot less frequent, but I hope that the few people who interact with this thread have enjoyed it so far.

@rangers311 I can’t remember if I have ever shown you this. I had over 3,000 TTM and IP autographs when I sold my collection. I kept about 30 that I liked the most.

Whoa!! Ricky Wright! That is so cool!

I have kind of come to the conclusion that I will never get a Ricky Wright signed card. There are a few other players that I don't think I'll ever get, like Bobby Thompson, Cesar Tovar, and Nellie Fox.

Here I am again, being a downer. I hope that you would prefer to know the truth on bad signatures though. That Zimmer was likely signed by his wife. The closed D in his name gives it away. if you look at any certified autographs, he never closed the D.

They are not overly common these days, but Wright did sign stuff. It might have been at the time he was playing. I am not sure what his signing habits were like while or after his career, other than he seems to avoid his 87 Topps like it was the plague. I have his 83 Fleer signed and that comes up every so often, probably the most frequent autograph of his that gets sold. He is somewhat scarce, but not rare. You may be able to find one and create a cut if you really wanted completion.

Maybe someone will break him down someday and get him to do some signings. There is always hope. (Dr.) Mike Marshall & Bill (Celtic) Russell both did it, after all!

The team autograph collector's work is never over. Especially with journeyman pitchers, it seems. So far, the Dodgers only have 3 new names on the 40 man that I don't already need. I won't officially count them until they appear in a game though. I am sitting at 14 official names for LA Dodgers players, 1958-2026. I am not actively tracking coaches, but need a few of them as well. Most players are flash in the pan pitchers that probably don't even play any more. I have 3 that may be impossible for me, unless prices come down or I get extremely lucky somehow. Sasaki, Yamamoto and of course, Ohtani.

Luckily, all of the players I mentioned have sticker autographs available. And Cintron and Schumaker do as well. So if those people (other than Nimmo, because he already has one) don't receive a Rangers card, I will just make a custom and transfer the sticker auto. Suggs is the only one that doesn't

I've considered this. Have you ever done it? I worry about it curling off of the custom.

I've done it many times and I've never had the sticker curl off. I either use a very thin double sided tape on the back or a specific glue. Panini stickers are easier for me for some reason.
